This is a decorative iron nutcracker with bone inlay, consisting of two elongated iron arms joined at a central working section. The handles are decorated with shaped bone plates, secured with small iron pins, creating a contrasting decorative pattern against the dark iron surface.

The central portion is formed with a stylized bird motif, including a small head, projecting beak, and applied bone wing. The elongated arms are slightly tapered and decorated with incised bands and bone fittings. Their opposing movement would have allowed pressure to be applied at the central working area for cracking nuts or similar hard-shelled materials.

The combination of iron construction, bone inlay, and zoomorphic decoration demonstrates the practical and decorative character of traditional metalworking. The object appears to have been designed both as a functional household implement and a decorative craft object
