Blue Crackle-Glazed Figural Ewer

This ceramic ewer has a globular body, a narrow neck, a flared spout, and a broad loop handle extending from the shoulder to the rim. The vessel is covered with a turquoise-blue crackle glaze, producing a dense network of fine crazing across the surface. The body is decorated in moulded relief with a continuous frieze of robed human figures rendered in stylized poses. Their facial features, draped garments, and gestures are defined by incised and raised details, creating a narrative composition around the vessel. Additional moulded and incised ornamentation enhances the neck, shoulder, and spout.
