The decoration is restrained and primarily geometric. Shallow incised and chisel-cut lines appear across the exterior walls, forming irregular diagonal, vertical, and angular divisions. Rather than elaborate figural imagery, the ornament relies upon the natural texture of the stone and simple carved linear patterns. The broad sides display traces of repeated linear tooling, while the lower edges and projecting front are comparatively plain. The weathered surface has softened many of the original carved details.
