Intertwined serpents stone hand bag (Jiroft civilization)

An arched plaque carved in high relief within a shallow frame shows two intertwined serpents facing opposite directions.
One serpent’s body is marked with dotted impressions, while the other bears oblique linear incisions- a deliberate contrast symbolizing duality.
Their bodies coil symmetrically, and their heads rise toward the upper corners.
Similar serpent motifs appear on jewelry, cylinder seals, and architectural fragments from Persepolis, Susa, and Pasargadae.
